Justice for over-taxed motorists

 

 

This website is campaigning for a fair deal for the motorist. Over 30 million motorists have been taken for granted for too long. We need your support to put it right.

 

Here are some ways that you can help us to help you.

 

ORDINARY MOTORIST

·       Tell your friends about our campaign

·       Keep our campaign posted on any developments in your area - particularly where local people stand up for themselves.

·       Register your support for the London campaign (against Mayor’s Transport Strategy proposals such as the Khangestion Charge and other anti-motorist measures).

KEEN MOTORIST

·       Write to the national press in support of our campaign. (Quick links).

·       Write to the local press – particularly if there’s a hot local issue

·       You can often comment online, including on blogs and social networking sites. Don’t forget the main motoring titles.

 

PASSIONATE MOTORIST

Contact your elected representatives and ask them for action:

·       Westminster Parliament – on national issues, such as tax

·       Local council – on local streets and charges (e.g.)

·       London government – a GLA representative or a Mayoral assistant – on Londonwide issues (e.g. TFL, Mayor’s Roads Task Force or Mayor’s Transport Strategy issues)

·       Devolved administrations in:

·       Contact details for political parties (for instance residents’ groups that might be represented on your council) are also available online.

NB: this campaign is totally non-party political.

 

Write to Ministers at the Department for Transport.

 

EXPERIENCED CAMPAIGNER

·       Run a website?  Give our campaign a mention and provide a link

·       Get your campaign or interest group to promote us

·       Write a piece for a community or trade journal (e.g.).
